3. Sample Collection and Submission
It is your responsibility to follow the sample collection instructions provided by us. We are not liable for inaccurate results caused by:
- Improper sample collection, contamination, or degradation.
- Delayed or improper shipping of the sample.
You acknowledge that our ability to provide accurate results depends on the quality of the sample submitted.
4. Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our Services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to:
- A remedy for major failures in the Services.
- Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by such failures.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to the re-supply of the Services or the cost of such re-supply.
5. Payment and Refund Policy
All fees are stated in Australian dollars (AUD) and must be paid in full at the time of placing your order. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Refunds will only be provided as required under the ACL or at our discretion in exceptional circumstances. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@reeflabs.com.au.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, REEFLABS and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.

REEFLABS provides diagnostic services using DNA sequencing and bioinformatics to detect and identify organisms in aquarium water samples. These Services are for informational and educational purposes only and do not replace professional veterinary or expert advice.
Limitations of Liability
The accuracy of our analysis depends on factors such as sample quality and the limitations of current technology. While we make every effort to ensure accurate results, we cannot guarantee the completeness or reliability of the information provided.
By using our Services, you agree to release and indemnify REEFLABS from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of our reports or any decisions made based on them.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless REEFLABS, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from:

11. Force Majeure
REEFLABS is not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor strikes, or technological failures.
